Safety Beyond Borders was founded in 2001 (as Safety Alliance) to collaborate with the
relevant government agencies to address the very high cases of roadway crashes, injuries and
deaths at a time Nigeria was losing over 30,000 lives annually in auto crashes across the nation.

Kids' Safety

Kids’ safety is an issue in Africa and other developing regions of the world because in many of these jurisdictions, regulations on kids’ safety are weak or non-existent.

23 Years of Safety Campaigns

Safety Beyond Borders (SBB) published Reducing Road Accidents in year 2000 to bring the increasing rates of road crashes and deaths to the attention of Nigeria.

The book was so well accepted that it became a reference material for traffic police, road safety marshals and journalists.
